Bumpy release but all important bugs are fixed.
I was planning on uploading the demo then passing out but I should have known that was not likely, either way the demo should be bug free except typos now.

I apologize for the hassle if you downloaded a buggy version, I hope you will give the fixed version a real try.

Now I really should get some sleep.

First 5 Minutes of XchangeText!

First off thank you for all the encouragement I have received! This release is just the first sex scene, I felt I needed to show some playable progress so I got home from work and finished up the first scene, I haven't fully tested it yet so I'm sure there will be mistakes but I wanted to upload it before I passed out. I'd write a more lengthy post but I don't need to, just go play! Links located at the top right of the blog. Currently available on Windows/Mac, once the game is more than just a demo I will set it up to be played through browser and smartphones. That's it! Thank you!

I should note here that you are a hermaphrodite but the fact that you have a penis will be primarily ignored when you are with a partner who does not wish to use it, the demo only contains one such character, I promise you'll get the full experience soon in future builds.

Dual Development.

I started my new job about a week ago with a schedule that doesn't leave much time for creating original art(50+ hours a week). So how did I respond? By deciding to make TWO games instead of one.

Xchange: This is the game I have already shared some basic screenshots for. I will take advantage of my huge increase in work hours to commission art from some very talented artists, I already have a few in mind. Sadly this game will take a backseat roll for now while I save some cash to get full character art created, however this could be looked at as a positive considering the huge improvement that will be immediately noticeable once I get these artists started and can share their work.

Xchange Text: The new game! My oh my this game will be so much easier for me to develop. A text based game with a different and unique story compared to the visual novel. Still set in a world where x-Change exists but is NOT regulated and released publicly. In the first public release (SOON!) you will play as a true hermaphrodite with both a penis and a vagina. I don't want to give away to much information since I will be able to release updates much more frequently, but I thank you for your expected patience.

Hopefully you see this as a great opportunity to get one game heavily based on erotic text, and one game with beautiful, and professional art. Xchange Text will serve a few purposes, first off it will provide a playable game much faster than I could ever achieve creating art, and second it will give me some experience for when I can get commissioned art and resume development of the original visual novel concept. Expect an update on Xchange Text soon.

Hello, Updates will be posted here primarily so I have somewhere to link when asked about my current project. I want to use this first post to share some teasers of game art I've been working on.
Keep in mind I am creating all art in many layers so I can (and constantly do) go back and polish or change individual parts of every item and room.

Main Menu: This is an in-game screenshot of the menu in its current state, this will probably be a great reference for something that will constantly have little/big updates to the artwork that are not a primary focus but will gradually be improved while I work on advancing the plot.


What will gameplay look like?

I chose to write my game in the visual novel format with a big focus on items and surroundings, while the art isn't beautiful(OR FINISHED!) every item has purpose or at least a backstory. This allows me to challenge myself with creating game art and incorporating real game-play, here is the first room along with an item from it.

Story: As with the art I will certainly tweak the story although probably not nearly as much.
If you still have not checked out the X-Change sub-reddit listed on the right hand side of the blog, the basic premise of X-Change is a fast acting gender changing pill. You wake up to a mystery and a foggy memory, you will have to adapt to your new life as a woman and figure out exactly what happened that night. The main driving force behind the story will be finding lovers that not only satisfy you but help you transition your lifestyle to the new you with gifts like flowers, or a nice new pink bed. Items/gifts will be at your apartment which will be used as a way to show progression.
