Hello, Updates will be posted here primarily so I have somewhere to link when asked about my current project. I want to use this first post to share some teasers of game art I've been working on.
Keep in mind I am creating all art in many layers so I can (and constantly do) go back and polish or change individual parts of every item and room.

Main Menu: This is an in-game screenshot of the menu in its current state, this will probably be a great reference for something that will constantly have little/big updates to the artwork that are not a primary focus but will gradually be improved while I work on advancing the plot.


What will gameplay look like?

I chose to write my game in the visual novel format with a big focus on items and surroundings, while the art isn't beautiful(OR FINISHED!) every item has purpose or at least a backstory. This allows me to challenge myself with creating game art and incorporating real game-play, here is the first room along with an item from it.

Story: As with the art I will certainly tweak the story although probably not nearly as much.
If you still have not checked out the X-Change sub-reddit listed on the right hand side of the blog, the basic premise of X-Change is a fast acting gender changing pill. You wake up to a mystery and a foggy memory, you will have to adapt to your new life as a woman and figure out exactly what happened that night. The main driving force behind the story will be finding lovers that not only satisfy you but help you transition your lifestyle to the new you with gifts like flowers, or a nice new pink bed. Items/gifts will be at your apartment which will be used as a way to show progression.
